Why do I need to pre-book?

ACS is committed to accepting all bookings, however, during high season we are extremely busy and advanced booking helps us manage our service efficiently and gives you confidence in your choice.

Can I make a short notice telephone booking?

You certainly can, your booking will be processed just the same, however, we are extremely busy at certain times of the year, so advanced booking is recommended.

Will my booking be confirmed?

If booked on line – yes, if booked over the telephone – yes (depending on notice given).

Can I get confirmation sent by mail?

Yes, depending on notice time given.

Can I pay over the telephone?

Yes, call 0161 776 4220/4330 during office hours - 9am to 5pm Moday to Saturday, 9am to 1pm Sunday.

What is a storage period?

It is between the dates given. Charges are made on a 24 hr basis starting at midnight on day one, either part or whole and ending on the date of pickup from the arrivals terminal. One week is 8 days i.e. Sat. to Sat. Two weeks is 15 days Sat. to Sat. week. Extra days are charged at current rate.

Minimum charges. What does it mean?

To enable ACS to carry out their service, a minimum charge is applied for bookings of two days or less.

What is check in time at ACS?

You have a flight check in time allocated to you by the airline. ACS require you to arrive at their reception 30mins prior the flight check in time to allow for transfer to terminal required.

Where do I check in with ACS?

ACS reception is at the Hilton Hotel Manchester Airport, you only have to drive to Manchester Airport, the Hilton Hotel is 2 minutes from the terminals.

How do I get to the terminals?

ACS will transfer you to any of the three terminals by courtesy bus, all being approx. 2 minutes from the ACS reception.

How do I get back to collect my car?

A paging number will be given you, whereby you advise your name and which terminal you are waiting at. Details are provided by ACS on your departure check-in. ACS courtesy bus will collect you and transfer you to your vehicle waiting at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester Airport.

What are the hours of the ACS reception at the Hilton Hotel?

24 hrs per day, 7 days per week.

Is the ACS compound secure?

Yes, with electric fencing, CCTV, manned security, hard standing, fully drained open air compound.

Where is the ACS secure Compound?

The ACS secure compound is offsite and our uniformed experienced drivers transfer the vehicle to and from the ACS reception at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester Airport. You do not need to search for our compound, wait for a mini bus etc, simply drive direct to the Hilton Hotel, Manchester Airport. ACS will do the rest.

How about cancellations etc?

The cancellation policy is contained within the terms and conditions. Ring our Reservations office on 0161 776 4220/4330 during office hours - 9am to 5pm Moday to Saturday, 9am to 1pm Sunday.

Do I have to be a resident of the Hilton, Manchester Airport?

No. ACS accept direct bookings whether you stay, or if you stay overnight, anywhere.

Can I use the Hilton Hotel public facilities?

Yes, with pleasure.

Do you have a service to assist Disabled clients?

Yes, please ask/advise our reservations on 0161 776 4220/4330 during office hours - 9am to 5pm Moday to Saturday, 9am to 1pm Sunday.

Do I need proof of booking?

Yes. Bring a copy of the booking/confirmation supplied, or quote booking reference number supplied, to present to the ACS representative.

Is the reservation guaranteed?

Yes, providing you have a copy of the booking confirmed via ACS.

What is a Service Fee and when would it be used?

A Service Fee is only raised if you have asked for any extra service to be provided, such as repair punctures, service vehicle, etc.

What is Valet/Quality Clean?

This is a service provided by a national company – details can be advised along with prices.

What happens if I return early from my trip, before the original booking date?

ACS will require at least 12 hours notification to transfer the vehicle from out compound to our reception. Documentation/proof of booked vehicle is required. Failure to notify will attract a call-out fee.

Is my car insured when in the care of ACS?

Yes, all our drivers are covered by the ACS fleet policy, with road risk cover.
