TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR
STORAGE OF VEHICLES WITH AIRPORT CAR STORAGE LTD
(TRADING AS ACS) From 1ST APRIL 2007

ACS DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY for Loss of or Damage to, during the vehicle storage period, the items in clauses 1to 5 inclusive, nor for any consequential or economic losses arising from loss of or damage to, from whatever cause and howsoever arising in clauses 1 to 5 inclusive, unless caused by their negligence or wilful default or that of their sub-contractors (if any).
1. Risks Excluded -
(a) Keys, Fobs, Alarm Keys and Fobs of associated equipment.
(b) Personal Effects and Luggage and other property of, or in the care of you and your guests, in transit to and/or from the Airport Terminals or left within the vehicle
(c) Accessories or other items fixed to or within the vehicle, or not properly fixed or fitted to the vehicle.
(d) The vehicle, by person/s unknown or beyond the care and control of ACS.
(e) The vehicle, before inspection/collection by ACS, from Hotel car park and after return by ACS to the Hotel car park or flight arrival, or parked on the hotel car park, if for any reason unable to be moved to ACS compound.
(f) All glass/mirrors.
(g) Vehicle bodywork.
(h) The vehicle, due to road conditions.
2. Upon client check in of vehicle and keys, you must complete and advise ACS of any defects/damage to the vehicle of which you are aware.
3. Vehicle must be roadworthy, legally taxed and with sufficient fuel for transfers. Please check your vehicle before leaving.
4. ACS shall have no liability whatsoever arising from :
(a) failure of the vehicle, from any cause whatsoever, including breakdown, accident damage, vandals damage
and/or non starting, including electrical failure and/or mechanical failure, incurred recovery of vehicle and/or
towing and/or delivery or collection of the vehicle.
(b) derangement, moth, vermin, wear and tear, damage to or loss of use of tyres, punctures, aerials, batteries, fuses, fuel.
(c) Any consequential losses including, hire charges, fines, or other costs or expenses, loss of earnings and/or
economic losses, incurred from loss of use of the vehicle, howsoever arising.

5. Upon checking in the vehicle you must advise ACS of any defects to the vehicle of which you are aware.

Permission must be given by Client for the vehicle being stored with ACS, to be driven at any time to and from the storage compound (approx 23 miles) by ACS nominated staff. ACS legal liability is covered by “Road Risk Insurance” for vehicle transfers. Vehicles accepted for storage are removed from ACS reception after departure of outgoing flight and returned to ACS reception pre Client advised incoming flight. Each vehicle or multiples of vehicles booked on a single booking form is accepted by ACS that the Client is aware of ACS current terms and conditions for the storage of the vehicle. Charges on vehicles for storage, requested services and supplies are payable prior commencement of storage by Cash, or Credit/Debit Card ( Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Amex or Maestro only), an invoice will be raised which will include a service charge for any requested supplies, other than storage.
Storage charges are calculated as follows – Up to and including two days, a minimum charge is applicable, each day thereafter up to seven days is charged at the current tariff. Eight days equals one week, fifteen days equals two weeks. Charter Holidays and Flights arriving at Manchester Airport on the 16TH day will be charged as 16 days at current tariff. All and additional days and part thereof, are charged at current tariff. Flight delays resulting in Late Arrivals will be charged at ACS current Tariff.
The service includes transportation to and from the ACS Reception and Manchester Airport Terminals by ACS Courtesy Coach. Charges are subject to alteration without prior notification and are payable in full prior to flight departure and commencement of car storage.
All vehicles will be checked for condition, prior, during and before release from storage with ACS. Please check your vehicle before leaving.
Any proposed claim made by Client MUST be fully documented and signed by claimant prior vehicle and/or Client departure from ACS care and control. A full ACS investigation will take place. Claimants must follow procedure indicated on claim form.
This booking form is part of the contract formed between you (the Client) and ACS. All details must be fully completed and signed, ACS cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising, following the failure to supply the correct and requested information.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKINGS.
No Refund/Credit - Less than 24 hours Notice.
No refund - Early return (before Client specified date, for telephone call outside U.K. ring 00441614353000 – Hilton Hotel).
(N.B Early return will attract an £10.00 Fee (payable by client), for ACS driver call out, should return details not be advised at least 16 hours prior arrival at Manchester Airport.)
All other cancellations are subject to an Administration Charge.
Where applicable a credit note will be issued and held on request for one year only (from cancellation date), on pre-paid car storage, minimum 24 hours notice prior departure date must be given to qualify.
ACS reserve the right to alter the Terms and Conditions and Tariff at any time without affecting your legal rights.
